It takes a lot of patience when little hands like to take parts off...
...and put monkeys in...
...and squeeze into places where they shouldn't be.
Hubby's personal touch: the star. I wonder how many families have Haile Salassie traditionally topping their trees.
The tree's been up less than 24 hours and the lookout for wild rolling injury-awaiting ornaments already has me exhausted. Wish us luck!

Very nice tree. It seems that your tree is faring alot better than ours. Barker can't keep his hands off it. It's like he HAS to touch it or else. He has tipped it over twice already & we have only had it up 2 days. LOL Thank God we opted to put the 4 1/2 footer up instead of the 6 footer. I'm still hesitant on decorations tho, I may put a few unbreakables on it. :-)
LOL, Jimmy is the same way re: touching it, or else. Last year we decorated only the top half of the tree, and it's shaping up to be more of the same this year. Ah well, I gave it a shot. I'm glad he's not tipping it over, though!!
