A Happy 5th of July!

Happy post-4th of July! I hope all's went well! Mine stunk. It didn't suck, but it stunk, I worked all day and then got a little sick and by the time I rallied, Jimmy was asleep and his dad not far behind him. No fireworks for the 4th, again.

Today was great! We got 2 cords of firewood,



And then we decided to take advantage of a beautiful day and a thoughtful birthday gift from Jimmy's Aunt/Uncle/Cousin,





They were tickets to the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad!



Thanks M/Mark/Sam! Jimmy loved every inch of it all, starting with the museum part (complete with Thomas train table) and especially during the trainride itself (many affirmations that we were on a train!) At least 30 pedestrians waved to us on the train and I took at least 30 photos of our excursion on my cheapass Jonas Brothers camera, and wouldn't ya know, the Jonas Brothers ate the photos. Poof*memories*gone.

We even extended our Downtown Portland vacation into DiMillo's Floating Restaurant, and the Jonas Brothers ate those photos too.

And then we came home and gardened and watched a crazy episode of The Bachelorette, and had a very happy 5th of July!
